A delightful and quick meal combining ground beef with hot honey for a flavorful punch.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup hot honey (adjust to taste)
  • 2 cups cooked rice (white, brown, or cauliflower rice)
  • 1 cup mixed fresh vegetables (e.g., bell peppers, broccoli, carrots)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add hot honey to the browned beef, stirring until well coated. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  3. Assemble the bowls by serving cooked rice into individual bowls and spooning the hot honey beef mixture over the rice.
  4. Top with mixed vegetables, serving them raw or briefly sautéed.
  5. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired, and serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use lean ground beef to reduce excess grease. You can substitute ground turkey or chicken for a leaner option. Feel free to add more vegetables based on your preference.
