A flavorful and satisfying low-carb dish featuring chicken in a creamy bang bang sauce with a bit of kick, perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons chili sauce (adjust for heat)
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh green onions, for garnishing
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños, for an extra kick

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces to ensure even cooking.
  2. Make the sauce: In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, chili sauce, lime juice, minced garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until well blended and set aside.
  3. Cook the chicken: In a skillet over medium heat, add a little oil. Place the chicken pieces in the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5–7 minutes or until the chicken is browned and cooked through.
  4. Add the sauce: Once the chicken is cooked, reduce the heat to low. Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir until everything is evenly coated.
  5. Heat thoroughly: Allow the chicken and sauce to cook together for an additional 2–3 minutes, ensuring everything is warm and the flavors meld together beautifully.
  6. Garnish: Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and optional jalapeños for added flavor and spice.
  7. Serve: Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy your dish warm.

Notes

Use boneless and skinless chicken breasts for even cooking; mayonnaise can be substituted with Greek yogurt for a lighter option. Adjust chili sauce according to your spice preference.
