A quick and satisfying dinner featuring tender sirloin steak, vibrant veggies, and a hint of umami, delivering the essence of Japanese hibachi right to your home.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound Sirloin Steak (Cubed)
  • 1/4 cup Mirin (optional)
  • 3 cloves Garlic (Minced)
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger (Grated)
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
  • 2 medium Carrots (Sliced thinly)
  • 1 medium Zucchini (Sliced thinly)
  • 8 ounces Mushrooms (Quartered)
  • 3 cups Fried Rice (Pre-cooked)
  • 2 tablespoons Soy Sauce (Low-sodium recommended)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, combine the cubed sirloin steak, mirin (if using), minced garlic, grated ginger, and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix well and allow to marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Sauté the Vegetables: Heat the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced carrots and zucchini, stirring for about 3-4 minutes. Then, add the quartered mushrooms and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  3. Cook the Steak: In the same skillet, add the marinated steak and any leftover marinade. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Combine Ingredients: Add the fried rice and soy sauce to the skillet. Stir until well combined and heated through, about 2-3 minutes.
  5. Serve: Plate the hibachi steak and rice mixture, topping with the sautéed vegetables. Enjoy!

Notes

Marinate the steak for enhanced flavor. Use a high heat for cooking and avoid overcrowding the pan.
